The Tidings of Fear: A Maplewood Christmas

Three spine tingling Christmas stories set in the Maplewoodverse.

THERE AROSE A CLATTER:
Young Timmy is curious why the parents of Maplewood Falls never leave out milk and cookies for Santa like the rest of the world does. Every Christmas Eve, the parents lock their bedroom doors and stay inside, admonishing the children to not leave their rooms. Timmy wants to see Santa Claus in person, and decides to stay up all night to meet him. He quickly learns to regret that decision.

THE GNOME ON THE STOVE:
With Elf on the Shelf nowhere to be found in the area, Jared makes due with a garden gnome he finds in a wood shed so his younger brother Bobby can have a sense of normalcy in a household increasingly becoming a broken home. A looming divorce is driving their parents apart, and he hopes Gnorman can provide a good distraction for little Bobby.

THE WOMAN IN RED:
A college student heading back to West Virginia University on New Years Eve picks up a strange and mesmerizing young woman as a passenger. He drops her off at her bed and breakfast, but she leaves behind a mysterious book and her cellphone in his car. He quickly learns that the beautiful young woman is not what she seems.
